  • Additionally, you will learn how to treat cold stress and injuries.

Rigging Safety

  • Duration: 25 Minutes      Language: English

Rigging Safety is an awareness training and is separate from Competent Rigger training. This course does NOT provide the hands-on portion which is required to meet the ANSI 10.48 standards. It is recommended employers include the practical application for their employees.

 

Recommended For:

  • All workers in charge of rigging loads for cranes, hoists or other equipment. This includes a lift, inspecting and selecting slings, determining a load’s weight, using a sling angle chart and working with a crane operator.

Topics Covered:

  • Differentiate sling types, understanding their pros, cons, and limitations.
  • Scrutinize slings and rigging hardware for inspection.
  • Formulate essential questions when planning a lift.
  • Calculate load weight, consider factors affecting sling capacity, and balance loads effectively.
  • Recognize vertical, choker, and basket hitches’ features, while engaging in other rigging safety procedures.
  • Identify crane-related hazards and implement safe practices to prevent them.

General Occupations RF Safety – RF1004

  • Duration: 1 Hour      Language: English

General Occupations RF Safety training is NOT directed towards tower, cell site or roof-top RF workers who should instead take RF1002 or RF1003

Recommended For:

  • All workers that may be incidentally exposed to RF energy including industrial workers, electricians, HVAC techs, firemen, policemen, maintenance and custodial personnel and many other fields.

Topics Covered:

  • Explain Ionizing versus Non-Ionizing EME Awareness.
  • Understand the roles of industry standards including FCC & OSHA.
  • Explain biological effects of RF Energy including Thermal / Non-Thermal / Startle Effects, and Shock & Burn Contact.
  • Recognize controlled and uncontrolled areas according to Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limits including the “six- minute rule.”
  • Understand Mathematical Calculations, On-Site Measurements, Theoretical Modeling and RF Devices in the Workplace.
  • Explain what RF signage means and how to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Our General Occupations RF Safety course provides comprehensive training on radio frequency safety for various occupations, excluding tower, cell site, or rooftop RF workers. This course covers essential topics such as RF radiation hazards, safe work practices, and protective measures to ensure the well-being of workers in different industries.

 

First Aid, CPR & AED

  • Duration: 1 Hour 15 Minutes      Language: English

This course does NOT include the hands-on portion which may be required for first responders or one who requires it. In addition, many work places require training delivered by an instructor to meet OSHA requirements and do not accept certificates of completion from an online- only course.
