To change your password on the OSHA portal:

  1. Log in to the HSI portal.

  2. Click the Profile icon at the top right of your dashboard.

  3. Click Change Password.

  4. Enter your current password, new password and confirmation of your new password.

  5. Click Change Password.

To reset your password for the OSHA portal:

1. On the HSI portal login page, click Reset Password.

2. Enter your username or Login ID.

3. Click Send Temporary Password.

You will receive an email with a temporary password and steps of how to reset your password.



Common issues you may have when resetting your password:

You haven’t received the email to reset your password.
If you can’t find the password reset email:

1 Check your spam/junk mail folder.

2. If you use Gmail, make sure to check the Social and Promotions tabs.

You reset your password and still can’t login.
If you still can’t login to your account after resetting your password:

1. Make sure your using the correct Username or Login ID.

2. Double check you entered your credentials in correctly including capital letters, numbers and any symbols.

3. If you have any auto-fill or “Stay Signed In” options enabled on your browser, disable them as they could contain outdated information.

If none of these options work, please contact us.

All courses give you 3 chances to pass each quiz and the Final Exam.

If you failed a quiz for the OSHA 10 or 30 Hour course, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your account and click on the quiz that you failed. A pop-up box will appear where you need to submit a ticket.

2. Once you submit that ticket, OSHA will send you an email confirming the ticket was received.
Make sure to check your Spam / Junk folder.

3. Typically within one day, OSHA will send you a second email providing you with instructions and two choices in order to unlock the training. Call the phone number listed in the email and then choose the following options:

(a) Get your last lesson re-set for one day with one chance to pass it.

(b) Take a verbal quiz over the phone with an OSHA-authorized trainer.

If you receive your DOL card with your name spelled incorrectly, there is $25 fee for a replacement card.

To avoid any certificate issues and replacement card fees, please verify your name is correct before completing any training.

Please wait for an email from LBA University confirming you have been registered in the OSHA 10 & 30 Hour courses.
It may take up to 2 hours to receive a confirmation email.

  • Due to regulations, OSHA courses cannot be fulfilled by your or your organization once purchased.

  • LBA University’s Site Administrator must fulfill your order and manually place you employees in the course.



Possible issues you may have after making an OSHA purchase:

You haven’t received the email confirming you have been registered.
If you can’t find the confirmation email:

1. Check your spam/junk mail folder.

2. If you use Gmail, make sure to check the Social and Promotions tabs.

It’s been over 2 hours since you placed your OSHA order.
If you placed your order and still have not received an email, please contact us for immediate assistance.

If you cannot see a student on your gradebook on the OSHA portal, contact us and we’ll correct this issue right away.

OSHA allows a maximum of 7.5 hours per day of training.

  • OSHA 10 = 1.5 days total time

  • OSHA 30 = 4.5 days total time

If you complete an OSHA course earlier than the required minimum 10 or 30 hours, you will NOT meet the required training time and will need to add an extra OSHA approved course to meet the required training time. Payment is required for additional training.

If you completed the course and your certificate is blank, make sure you did both of the following:

  • Successfully passed the Final Exam.

  • Completed the End-Of-Course Survey which is required. Participants must complete the course survey to receive an OSHA DOL card and Certificate of Completion.

Once you complete the entire course, your DOL card will be released for mail and will arrive within 90 days.

  • You must first successfully complete the Final Exam and the End-of-Course Survey.

You are authorized to *print and use the Certificate of Completion until the DOL card arrives.
*Note: this is not allowed in the State of New York.

To request an OSHA DOL card replacement:

  1. Call Summit Training Source at 1-800-447-3177.

  2. Press 1, then press 2.

  3. Wait to speak with an OSHA 10 & 30-Hour representative who will assist you with ordering your card.

Please note there is a $25 replacement card fee.
